Chizmo Sting (real name Chikondi Mungwa, also known as Rastar Bwoy) is a Malawian reggae and dancehall artist, songwriter, and performer from Lilongwe.
Born on 9 February 1998, he grew up in Area 49 (“Dubai”). In 2015, after his mother’s death, he started recording music at age 17, dropped out of school, and joined the Njuchi Group. He later formed the trio Njuchi Zitatu with Eli Njuchi and Veda Njuchi.
Known for mellow reggae-dancehall vibes that speak to ghetto life and social issues, he has released projects including the Rastar Bwoy mixtape, No Girl Friend EP, Mabala EP, and the 2024 mental-health focused Stay Alive EP. Popular tracks include Njee, Mabala, Za, and Sokosera.
He aims to build an international career while staying true to his own style and messages.
