Teddy Makadi (real name Teddy Maliza / Teddy Maliza Jnr) is a rising Malawian R&B and Afro-soul singer-songwriter from Blantyre.
He began music as a child, inspired by gospel artist George Mkandawire, and joined the gospel group BBM Clique in 2010. He went solo in 2014 with the single “Nkhawa Bii.”
Notable releases include the EP Aye (2020), album Makadi (2022), and With Love, Makadi (2025). Popular songs: “M’malele,” “Desire,” “Misala,” and “Nawe (Happier).”
